RC MAP will be launched at the Renfrew-Collingwood Multicultural Artist Network (RCMAN) visioning session on June 19, 2012. Thanks go to Randy Dalit and ZONE10 Mapping Corp., Alexis Macdonald Seto, January Wolodarsky and the Collingwood Neighbourhood House, Jason Hsieh, Amy Woo, Yoko Tomita, Carmen Rosen, Nathan Edelson and my fellow students at UBC's School of Community and Regional Planning, and many others for providing support and contributing so much to prepare this wonderful resource for the community.
We are now turning this map over to the Renfrew-Collingwood community-- we hope that you as community members will use the map in creative ways and add your own knowledge of the arts and culture in Renfrew-Collingwood to be shared with others. Have fun, explore, create, and stay connected!
As a resident of the Renfrew community, it is great to see a gathering-place for information on cultural events and showcases of the area. Sometimes amazing ideas are overlooked simply by not having information on when and where to connect to them, so thank you for launching this great initiative to bring us closer together as a community!
